Great Pools Come With Great Warranties!

The number one reason why we install Barrier Reef fiberglass pools is because of their lifetime limited warranty. Many other pool companies claim a lifetime warranty, but read the fine print; they are pro-rated from the date of installation.

Barrier Reef Pools warrants their fiberglass pool shell to be structurally sound for the life of the pool if the original installation was done by an authorized dealer of Barrier Reef Pools, a licensed contractor, or original buyer and if he complies with local building codes and installation procedures adopted and approved by Barrier Reef Pools. Structurally sound is defined by capable of containing water. The purchaser must notify BRP within 10 days of inception of the breach of the warranty and specify the exact nature of the alleged breach. Repairs may require modification of the pool and they must be made by BRP or personnel authorized by BRP to make the repairs.

The BRP gel-coat is warranted against blistering for a total of 15 years, but excludes discoloration, staining, fading, hairline cracks, surface yellowing or roughness after manufacture, where the cause is algae infestation, calcium scale or other mineral or vegetation deposits or faults arising from misuse or abuse of the surface or the maintenance. This limited warranty does not include pipe fittings, skimmer, inlet fittings, light niche or any other equipment or materials connected to the pool. Filtration pumps, motors, etc. included in the installation of your pool are covered by their individual manufacture’s warranties and not by BRP. Additionally, BRP makes no warranty on any concrete used in connection with the installation of the pool.

Palmetto Outdoor Construction offers these warranties through Pentair. Each Pentair product comes with a 1 yr warranty normally, but if you purchase 3 products, there is a 3 years warranty on all products.
